Best Weight Loss Diet
Weight loss can be stressing—and not just the diet. Choosing a diet can be just as frustrating when considering
how many are on the market today. It has been said that there is a diet out there for everyone, including ones that
use specific foods, increase specific food groups, and all but eliminate
certain other food groups or ones that don’t use food at all or that combine foods for optimizing weight loss.
Some diets enlist the use of supplements—herbal mixtures (among them green tea), fat busters, carbohydrate busters
and other forms of alternative therapy including acupuncture or body wraps (warm, moist, towel wrapped with plastic
targeting specific areas). The one thing a best weight loss diet will universally is encourage the dieter’s loyalty
to the program.
Weight loss programs (and many diets) are not only more flexible than they once were they are filled with
information helping an individual realize why he/she is the way they are. A best weight loss diet explains the way
the body works in regards to foods taken in, processed (or assimilated) and then used throughout the system. In
doing so, we have a better knowledge of our own importance in our health, appearance and ultimate weight loss.
Some people believe all they need to do is cut down on food and do some exercises in order to lose weight. In
theory it seems applicable but because of what we have accustomed ourselves to eat it is not always that easy. The
colon (gut) is home to a myriad of bacteria, fungus and yeast inhabitants. This is normal and kept in check by a
balance system aided by the body’s own immune system. It is when, through diet or illness, the balance becomes
upset that we begin to experience unexplained weight gain coupled with the inability to take it off.
When the intestine has more pathogens than beneficial bacteria it can trigger an inflammatory state in an
attempt to get the balance under control. If we adhere to a best weight loss diet program during this time it will
aid the friendly bacteria and a balance can ultimately take place. If we continue to eat processed foods, sugary
foods or drinks, fried foods and products made with white flour, etc., we feed the pathogens and the war rages. We
will not lose weight during this time.
A vegetarian lifestyle is becoming increasing popular because more and more people are taking an active part in
their own health as well as their weight. They are realizing the two are linked so closely they are hard to
separate. A best weight loss diet program is based on plant food choices such as vegetables, fruits, whole grains,
nuts, seeds, legumes and soy products as well as sea vegetables—all promoting natural weight loss.
Try a breakfast of toast with avocado and tomato slices. A giant veggie burrito filled with salad greens and quick
stir fried onions, mushrooms, peppers and zucchini for lunch and a pasta with marinara, lightly steamed broccoli
with onions and various seeds and whole grain garlic bread for dinner. Oh, do not forget the peanut butter/whole
grain cracker treat or a fruit choice for later in the evening.
When coupled with some increased activity (even a walk) it promotes a higher energy level, mental crispness and
clarity, a smoother digestive function (no war) as well as clearer skin.
