The Extreme Weight Loss Diet

It is estimated that more than 60% of adults in the US are overweight—and for varied reasons. Some have physical situations, diseases or medications can disrupt the metabolism while others depend on the satisfaction food brings just as an addict depends on his drug of choice. Losing weight on the other hand, can be very difficult. It is not a surprise that people will try any diet that promises weight loss (the quicker the better) or just choose to stay where they are. But most of these diets are dangerous and can cause serious, or add to, health problems.

One of these diet choices is the liquid meal in a can or made with a liquid you provide. Doctors recommend liquid diets. They are beneficial before or after surgery, for the elderly and for the obese. They work for quick or extreme weight loss because of all their vitamins and minerals, however, most people who utilize them put their weight back on once they begin eating food again.

What they are good for is flooding the system with vitamins, minerals and other nutrients right after your morning fat burning exercise routine. This works well as an extreme weight loss method because when you wake in the morning you have no left over carbohydrates from the day before. The body has performed all its tasks with them—digestion, the appropriation of and assimilation of nutrients, etc., and has stored anything that was left as fat in the fat cells.

When you exercise while in this state before taking in any fresh carbohydrates as fuel the body goes directly to stored fat to supply you with energy. For about 20 minutes after your workout your cells are open and receptive to whatever you provide for it. Liquid does not need the digestion time that food does and your cells will just drink up those nutrients. This is one of the best extreme weight loss tips you can put into practice.

Any diet touting quick weight loss that makes its claim through a diet low in carbohydrates poses dangerous health risks. Carbohydrates are responsible for the production of most of the body’s energy therefore a consistent lack of carbohydrates can lead to low energy levels and fatigue. Low carbohydrate diets are linked to heart and kidney disease and poor memory as well as an increased risk of cancer.

The most important (but overlooked) part of weight loss is the diet. And not only that but just by eating a healthy diet of foods low in calories and/or low on the glycemic scale you do not have to starve in order to achieve extreme weight loss. Most vegetables burn more calories in digestion then they contain. If your diet is made up of foods in this category you will not only be eating a wide variety of foods that taste good but ones that quickly burn off your storehouse of fat reserves.

Focus on foods such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, legumes, seeds and nuts (all high in fiber) that will help to eliminate waste, keep us feeling full, and rid the body of toxins for extreme weight loss. Plan your meals with 5-6 small portions eaten throughout the day. In doing this you do not allow the metabolism to slow down and between that and exercise first thing in the morning you keep it elevated throughout the day and into the night.
